Fastest Way: Delete In The App

1. Open BabelMe on your iPhone or Android device.
2. Go to Settings or Account.
3. Choose Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion prompt.

This removes the BabelMe account from our active server systems after confirmation.

If You Cannot Access The App

Email privacy@babelme.app with the subject line BabelMe Account Deletion Request.

Please include the BabelMe username, display name, and email address used for the account. We may ask for additional information only as needed to verify that you control the account.

Data Deleted

• BabelMe account profile data, including username, display name, and email address.
• BabelMe contacts, blocks, reports tied to your account where deletion is legally permitted, and group memberships.
• Device tokens used for BabelMe push notifications.
• Stored message-delivery, room, companion-session, voice-profile, and usage/quota data tied to your account where deletion is technically and legally permitted.
• Provider-side voice-clone identifiers associated with your account when BabelMe controls the provider record.

Data That May Be Retained

• Purchase, subscription, refund, tax, and payout records handled by Apple App Store, Google Play, or payment processors.
• Security, abuse-prevention, legal, accounting, or dispute records that must be retained for a limited period.
• Anonymous, aggregated, or de-identified reliability and usage data that no longer identifies your account.
• Local data that remains on a device until the app is deleted, app storage is cleared, or the device backup is removed.

Timing

We aim to begin verified deletion requests within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days unless a longer period is required for security, legal, tax, payment, or fraud-prevention reasons.
